On the way to work today, I found myself trying to sing. Yes, i said trying! First, I can’t carry a tune, but signing makes me feel good, especially when I’m alone. Actually, my husband and sisters insist my singing voice should not be heard by anyone!!! Then secondly, I felt guilty for wanting to try to put this past weekends events out of my mind do awhile Then I thought, if I were in a room with those little angels who now brighten Heaven, what would they want to sing. So, the rest of my ride I cried and smiled while singing Frosty, Jingle Bells, Rudolph, and ended it with Dominick the Donkey. I made it to work with red eyes, a horse voice, but felt a bit uplifted! The drivers passing by me must have thought, “wow, look at that wack job!”
PS. This was with NO eggnog!
Diane! Reading your comment was so touching. Thank you so much for sharing. I know those little angels were singing right along with you, with big smiles on their faces :)
